Willems' style is familiar and easy to look at. His years storyboarding for animation were well spent--it's a big strength. It's the silly James Marshall-type moments that get me with this book. The Norway gag was so random, and it made me laugh. I enjoyed it when the dinosaur house was made to scale compared to Goldilocks. The evil buffoon character for the dinosaurs was pretty fun to see unfold, even if it made the characters two-dimensional.
